Designing and developing a variety of new products and mechanisms using multiple engineering design techniques. Projects are designed, engineered, prototyped, fabricated and tested for performance and durability. Practicing Photo-Realistic Rendering, Animation, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Plastic Rapid Prototyping of 3-D solids. Usage of all essential metal and woodworking tools in a fabrication lab to manufacture and assemble their final projects.

Designed and machined a functional flywheel trebuchet. Parts were built with aluminum and lumber utilizing the Vertical Band Saw, Horizontal Band Saw, compound miter saw, CNC Plasma Cutter, Orbital Sander, and Sand Blaster.
Utilized SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Arc Pro.

Developed, designed, and machined parts to create a flywheel trebuchet. Parts were designed using 1/4" and 1/8" Plywood, 1/4" diameter dowel rods, 1/8" Square Axel, as well as Vex High Strength Gears.

Designed and machined a metal frame and Sintra case using a CNC Plasma Cutter, Orbital Sander, Sand Blaster, Burnishing/Polishing Machine, and Band Saw.

Following a Dassault™ SolidWorks tutorial. I utilized the 3D sketch feature to create a bedframe, as well as dimensioning in a 3D space and mirroring features.

Drafting Exercises
I used reference drawings to recreate and draft parts in Dassault™ SolidWorks. All drawings efficiently utilize dimensions and relations to fully define each part.
